Leslie Lamb, 36, of San Leandro. Her alledged killer is suspected of the torture murders of at least two other people. The news account indicates possible copy-cat of movie.

It doesn't quite count as a murder, but BitingBeaver has gotten death threats for writing about her saga of trying to get Plan B in rural Ohio. The story has been on Pandagon and Majikthise also.
